And the art contest winner is…

We’re proud to announce the winning design in the Can’t Stop the Serenity 2009 Art Contest!

The caliber of artwork this year was amazing, and we know that it was very hard for people to choose their favourite. But after much difficult deliberation, the people have voted.

And the winning design is …

#3, by Don McMillan from Ottawa, ON Canada.

You’ll be able to purchase this design on T-shirts and posters at upcoming Can’t Stop the Serenity events across the globe, supporting Equality Now.

Thank you to the more than 1,300 people who voted, and to all our Browncoat artists!!

  1. Thank you to all the browncoats who submitted artwork and to those who took the time to vote. I am honored my work was chosen to represent this year’s event. It is really shiny! Thank you.

I hope we can raise even more money this year for Equality Now.

    Keep flyin’!

  2. So…when do we get started on next years contest? *grinning and ducking*

  3. I love it! Great work, Don! I especially like the version without the decorative border. Let’s the ‘ship shine all the more…wonderful!

  4. I love the round decal design. Will there be stickers? Please say that there will be stickers.

  5. Nice work Don! This is the one I thought was the bees knees. This will look great on whatever it is used for. There were some other very nice designs, but this was the one.
    Shiny!

  6. Now that I think of it, that round decal would look fantastic on an embroidered shoulder patch.

  7. This is amazing piece of work! I love the whole “Serenity coming towards you” design. I would buy this on a t-shirt in a heart beat
