It’s A Transatlantic Can’t Stop the Serenity Weekend!

There are 3 shiny events this week of all shapes and sizes proving you can turn anything into a Can’t Stop the Serenity event.

It all starts on Wednesday 30th, the official release date of Serenity in North America, where a group of Browncoats in Crest Hill are getting together for a movie night shindig with friends and family. And what could be better than hanging out with loved ones watching your favourite characters and raising money for Equality Now.

On Thursday night, 3rd October, the Alamo Drafthouse in Fort Worth is doing a Serenity Quote Along, an interactive screening with cap guns, ships, tissues and Fruity Oaty Tea cocktails. The North Texas Browncoats will be there with a table selling Can’t Stop the Serenity merchandise and a donation jar for Equality Now so please give generously. Check out their website for more info, and news about their last event for the year in October.

Then London returns to celebrate their 5th year of events and CSTS’s 10th with a screening event on Saturday 3rd from 4-11pm at The Proud Archivist. Before Serenity hits the big screen there’ll be a raffle, trivia bingo and don’t forget to dress up for the costume contest. You can see some of the shiny up for grabs in the silent auction on their website along with the event schedule. They also have lots of Can’t Stop the Serenity merchandise for sale including patches, challenge coins and enamel pins.

Tickets are £18.00 and include either a meal deal or drinks voucher which makes it great value. They are available online here from Eventbrite, get yours before they sell out as so many events have this year! For event information and updates keep an eye on the website and Facebook event page.

If these events aren’t local to you, have you checked our Find an Event page? The season might nearly be over but there are still a few events to come. And don’t forget our big end of season online auction is coming soon!

Registration for 2015 events is now closed but it’s not too early to start planning for next year! You can find all the essential info here.

Up next week Jenkintown, Fort Douglas and Paris!
