Donations are Needed

We are hoping to have a number of opportunities to sell and raffle off goods to help earn more money for Equality Now. We welcome any and all donations, cash or goods. We will host a raffle, and might host an auction. According to how our sponsorship anddonation campaign fares, we will try to incorporate a door prize drawing, as well. Please contact Beth for questions about donations.

If you are wondering what kind of items we are interested in, the sky is the limit.

San Antonio Related Goods

Are you a local business owner? Do you work for a local business that would benefit from advertising to thousands of Browncoats? We are looking for gift cards, "good for" cards, corporate baskets we can raffle or auction off, etc. We are open to any ideas you have. If you are interested in sponsoring the event, contact Beth. Also, check out our Partners page for more information about sponsorship opportunities.

All Contributors will be recognized on our Partners page. Based on your donations, we may offer a print ad for you to advertise your business or insert a coupon for our attendees to use. If you do not own a business, you can use the print ad to advertise an event or "shout out" to local Browncoats. These print ads will be a part of our event program, and will be available at the screening. For more information about print ad opportunities, check out our Partners page.

Donate your Time!

We are in need of a number of Browncoats with varying skills. If you are interested in helping prepare and support this amazing event, you've come to the right place. Below we have our current list of opportunities. Keep in mind this list is always changing and updating.

We are asking all volunteers to find 5 people (friends, family, co- workers) that are willing to donate $20 each to Equality Now. This is the first year for CSTS San Antonio. Let's make it a big one!

Fundraisers

We are in need of individuals who aren't afraid to work hard for an amazing cause, self-motivated individuals to work with small, local San Antonio businesses to uncover sponsors that could potentially go overlooked. The event organizer and her assistant will help give you leads and press materials, but the footwork is up to you! You will be responsible for collecting the proper data required of all sponsors to make sure we can advertise their support quickly and efficiently.

Street Team

Once the event is fully planned and times are booked, we'll need a Street Team to go out and ensure that all of San Antonio knows this event is going on. While the theatre will have limited seating, the raffle and auction items will have no limit. We'll need to get people just as excited for the merchandise as the event itself. This will involve posting and handing out flyers, as well as finding local businesses that are willing to advertise our marketing materials. If given the opportunity, you might have to take donations on the spot. Be prepared to document those donations.

Printers

We will need to mass produce flyers, handouts, and an event program. We are in need of discounted or free printing services. Funds are limited, so if there are any Browncoats with printing "connections," your help would be greatly appreciated.

Media

We will need one (1) or two (2) photographers for the event. We'd love to be able to successfully document the night and the evolution of the SATX CSTS Event. If there is an individual who is willing to take some digital video and put together a short documentary of our progress, we'd love to hear some ideas.

For information on volunteer opportunities or how your organization can support this effort, please contact Beth.
