THIS Saturday, meetup with the Browncoats of NYC at an Independents-friendly bar for a shiny time at their Can’t Stop the Serenity 2019 fundraiser for the wonderful charity Equality Now! Join them for food, drink, Firefly / Serenity trivia contest, prizes, knitted items so you can look cunning, auctions, and more! No tickets needed – just come on down to Slattery’s Midtown Pub and bring a bit of extra coin for food and charity – you may want to bid on some of the very shiny auction items! 

Organizer, Leslie, explains the cause: “Most of us know that Equality Now does good works. For example, in many countries, just $100 can pay for an hour of radio time so that girls who have been sexually abused can get the help they need. Every dollar counts!”
