A very shiny welcome to the ‘verse to one of our new events this year. The mighty fine folks in Utah are branching out by holding an affiliate event in the awesomely named Eagle Mountain!
On 21st July they’re holding a potluck shindig at a local park (location can be found on their Facebook event here) and they’re planning games, food (bring a dish to share) and family-friendly fun. Tickets are $2 for adults and $1 for children with all proceeds going to Equality Now.
Organiser Aubri says “Several Browncoats expressed interest in an event south of Salt Lake City and possibly more kid friendly/ family oriented. I personally love all the charitable things Browncoats do and was more then happy to help out. Along with the potluck I’m working on a smugglers hunt for the kids and I’ve also been working on a few crafty things that the kids will love.”
